Unis should hold your place til 7th September, however it's looking unlikely appeals will be able to be processed by then. If you're appealing then let your uni know, and ask if they'd be able to hold the space. If they aren't able to hold it for 2020, then they may be able to offer you an offer for 2021 entry should the grade go up after 7th September (but get this in writing if you want to take them up on that).
