Making friends

I’m at a sixth form college which I started in September. In secondary school I was in a small group but because we’ve picked seperate subjects we rarely see each other. In my lessons I can talk to some people and have a laugh but I can’t seem to actually make friends with anyone or be able to ask them if they want to do something outside of college. I hate it because I have dinner alone and feel embarrassed that when people see me on the corridor I’m always by myself. Any tips with any of this ?

I’m glad I’m not the only one , just feels like I’m never going to find anyone who actually wants to be my friend which sounds so sad but it’s true lol , sorry to hear ur in the same boat , maybe we could help each other out xx
