Apprenticeship or University?

Hi, I'm in year 12 and am unsure whether to take an Apprenticeship for Journalism or if I should go to University? Which option is best?

There’s a pretty simple way of thinking about this. If you do a degree, it becomes very difficult to gain an apprenticeship afterwards. If you are 25+ it becomes very difficult to gain an apprenticeship. Therefore, if you’re even considering doing an apprenticeship you should try to acquire one now while you have the chance to.

You can always go to university afterwards if you don’t enjoy the apprenticeship or do not gain employment after completing your apprenticeship.
