BSc physiotherapy - Salford or MMU?

Hi there,
Been offered a conditional place for Physiotherapy for Salford and MMU. Would appreciate any feedback/experience to help decide between the two for this specific course.
Any current students with their experience or anyone else facing the same decision past or present? Also does the industry have any preference when it comes to employment between the two Uni's?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi @Adel F

Congrautaltions on recieving conditonal offers from us and Salford! Thats great!

Hopefully, some students will connect with you to give you their experiences. In the mean time you can chat to one of our Physiotherapy students on our Acess platform here: https://www.mmu.ac.uk/chatwithus/ who will be able to give you their experiences of the course and what Manchester Met is like!

I hope this helps!

Hi @Adel F,

That's excellent, congratulations on your offers.

If you are looking to find out more about what life is really like as a Salford student, you can chat with students from a range of courses here: https://www.salford.ac.uk/chat-our-students. They will be able to let you know more about what life is like at a campus university, hints and tips on balancing university life with academic study and answer any other questions you have.

Regarding the employability and course-specific questions, the best way to get the information is to, if you can, visit the campus and ask the questions directly to the academics. Our tutors will be more than happy to answer questions on the range of placements we offer, how our forward-facing clinic works and where our graduates have ended up working. If you have already visited, or you can't make the forthcoming Open Day on 25 June, you are more than welcome to get in touch with us directly at [email protected], and we will ensure you get the information you need.

If you have any other questions please feel free to get in touch with us.

Best of luck,
Ben
