Paranoid about dog poop getting on shoes

Idk why but it really stresses me out. I scan the bottom of my shoes when I get home, worried it’s not mud but poop- how can I get over this? It’s silly but it really stresses me.

what will actually happen if it is dog poo?
wipe your shoes on the mat before you go into the house, then take your shoes off once you're inside. that way there is no chance of potentially poo-ey shoes contaminating the rest of the house.
