NHS bursary

I'm wanting to study Paramedic Science from Sept. 2023 and I'm not sure how to go about applying for the bursary available for nhs related courses.
Do I have to wait until I start at uni before I can apply or is it like normal student finance and I can apply now but I wont get it until I actually start?

Please note that the NHS bursary is for students studying to be doctors or dentists. Paramedics can apply for training grants from the NHS Learning Support Fund. You don't have to wait, it is open to applications now. More info here:

Once you've applied for your student finance and had confirmation you can then apply for your nhs learning support fund.

I'm due to start my nursing in September and I've had mine approved.
