Bachelor or Masters degree

So if I chose a Bachelor's degree course, and after 4 years I decided to do a Masters's degree course, would I need to do a further 5 years or the final year?
Usually the way it works with Masters degrees you would only have to do a one-year degree after your bachelors. Most people choose to do a masters this way. The main difference would be funding - if you do an integrated masters (included in your initial UCAS application) it tends to work out cheaper than doing a masters degree separately.
I hope this helps!
