Can you choose a different course in clearing?

I applied for Neuroscience and Psychology but I'm now thinking that if I don't meet my grades I may go in a completely different direction and pick a completely different course. Can I do this in clearing or will they look at my personal statement and such and ill just need to reapply next year?
Hi @Ant1234567

With clearing you can apply to any course that different intuitions are offering and it doesn't necessarily need to be in the same field of what you previously applied to.

Certain courses may have specific requirements you need so you'd still need to consider these when you apply through clearing.

I hope that helps and best of luck.

Most clearing courses don’t look at the PS at all. Those that do will give you chance to submit a new one.

Yes - you can.

As above, unless its a vocational (typically healthcare) course then most Unis will go entirely on just subjects/grades achieved.
