Do you mean in general, or specifically for getting into one of the military groups at Uni eg UAS ?
Being in the cadets is a great opportunity to build confidence and develop many hands on skills and other personal qualities such as leadership. This will help you in life regardless of what direction your career takes. I’m not aware that previous membership of a cadet organisation would be taken into account for a Uni application although it would allow you to evidence your personal development as described above.
