Med Society Ideas in High School
Hi everyone - I'm setting up a Med society for my school for years 10-13 (I'm year 12). We're a small school so I need it to be engaging, any ideas on fun group medicine activities we can do?

Hi! Yeah here's some examples of what we did
•
An ethics session (showed 4 pillars, and then debated what we thought should happen). Just keep an eye on this though because people can start shouting easily haha
•
Tried suturing on bananas, there's tutorials online - be careful with needles for younger years
•
Tried some sign language
•
Did a bed side manner scenario (was useful as interview prep for older years)
•
Decorated biscuits like cells, organs etc. (this was a fun Christmas one!)
•
Found quizzes online about different medical imaging scans, and played kahoots/quizlets on these sort of things
•
If you can manage to get someone in who is trained in first aid, try and do a first aid session
