Conflicting Placement Year Options

I'm currently a 2nd year undergrad in Psychology and I'm interested in both studying abroad during my placement year and working with the government. Would I be able to cancel my applications to either of these two things if I get accepted in both?

Hi! I'm not sure about other universities but certainly at Lancaster you are able to opt out of study abroad and placement years.
