Second degree, retake year?

Hello,
I am currently studying BSc Mental Health Nursing, and have previously graduated with a degree in English Lit & Creative Writing.
I have recently failed my first assignment, and I have a retake in February.
My question is if I were to retake the 1st year, would I get funded for it??
I know the rule is usually
(Length of course + 1 year)
But I wasn’t sure if this is the same for exemption courses that are second degrees??

Hi there,

Allied Health Profession courses and NHS courses will be exempt from previous study and ELQ rules. Therefore if you already hold a degree or have previous study, you will still be eligible to access the full package of funding.*

[start]Repeating study on AHP and NHS courses will be treated as standard meaning that you will only qualify for one additional year of full funding.*[/start]

Thanks,
Claire
