University Prediction grades

"In the context of university predictions, particularly for my first year, I am seeking clarity on how the prediction system works. As a first-year student, I have upcoming end-of-module exams in January. Could you please explain whether the university predictions are based on these January exams, the final exams at the end of the academic year, or if predictions are not provided for first-year grades, considering that for my course, the first year doesn't contribute towards the final degree classification?"
