Master Loan Payment date

Hi! I’m an MRes student and I receive a Masters loan from SFE.
I checked the payment date for the second instalment and it’s dated for February 1st, but I thought they were due for the start of each term?
I’ve also got a rent payment coming up and I certainly need the loan to help pay it.
Am I wrong about this payment being scheduled earlier/should I bother contacting SFE?

Hi there,

We schedule payments in line with the term dates confirmed by the university. If your second term begins before the 1st of February then you'd be best to check with the university. If the scheduled date is incorrect they would then update this via their database and confirm the new term dates to us. Thanks, Jason
