25 before the course start date
Hello,
I am starting a pre-registration healthcare course in February and my student finance application is classed as undergraduate. Even though my academic year is 2023/2024 technically the course start date is the 5th of February 2024. I turned 25 in November 2023 so would I be classed as dependent or independent?

If you were 25 before the 1st of January 2024 then you would be classed as independent. Thanks, Jason
