Has anyone had an interview with brunel for occupational therapy msc (pre-reg) 2024 yet? Really nervous and was wondering if someone had an interview with them recently? 😭

Hi @Zeebby

Good luck if you have an interview at Brunel,

I interviewed for Occupational Therapy at Brunel and didn't find it to be too stressful! It was a combination of questions around my interest in the subject and a short written piece.

Here are also some top tips for the day that may help you,

All the best!

Hi! I hope you are well. I’ve got my Brunel OT interview soon and they said it includes group tasks and individual assessments. Do you have any tips or insight on what to expect and what kind of things they would look for? Thank you!!

Hey @seedy-proxy,

Although I don't study at Brunel University, having been through an OT interview, what I do know is to show you are passionate about becoming an OT. Ensure you know what an OT is (it may sound silly but sometimes people cannot differentiate the difference between a Physio and OT so it's important you know what the role does consist of)

Also do try to show your skills if you do participate in a group task, ie, your communication skills, confidence, team-working, active listening, problem-solving.

If you want to revise over general possible questions, I personally used this website for my OT interview when I applied and felt it really helped to prepare me. It has a wide range of questions which is great.

Do let me know how it goes and good luck!
