Are you a part-time student? What is the credit value of your modules?

Usually students study 120 credits per year for full time study. This is broken down into modules which are commonly 15 or 30 credits each; a few have 20 or 10 credit modules. The OU has 60 credit modules routinely. Some creative arts courses have varying module credit values.

You need to make sure you are taking the correct number of credits, which will be however many modules add up to that. If you don't understand how this works at your uni you should speak with your personal tutor ASAP.

If your uni doesn't have 60 credit first year modules and you aren't a part-time student, you would probably expect to be doing more than 2 modules in a year.
