Take this as an opportunity to confuse the hell out of them. Frame two posters of Gadaffi and some celebrity A-lister chic, and put them next to each other. I s*** you not, your parents will be guessing for ages what's going on.

and your parents will see that you're not gay. If it really bothers you, you could just talk to them and imply (or just say straight out) that you're not gay, or for example if you were watching a film with a good looking actress, comment on her or something... Just little hints here and there, haha. My brother's never had a girlfriend but I know he's not gay, I'm sure he'll meet someone eventually. It's all good, don't worry about a thing :smile:

I have a similar problem.

My family think I'm straight because I've had a girlfriend... I guess it's not a similar problem at all really. It's more like the complete opposite of your problem.

It doesn't help that my Mam went to see a psychic and was told that she'd have four grandchildren.

My sisters gonna be busy.

When I was 16/7 my mum did the "It's okay if you're gay" talk. After that I made sure my sexuality was as ambiguous was possible, pretty sure it kept her questioning for a few years. I don't see why people feel the need to prove themselves, what does it matter? Break down the heteronormative social constructs!
