EU Student Living cost help

Hi everybody,

I have just found out that my boyfriend (he's holding Spain passport) can't apply for Maintenance Loan. Also he is not working and his parents are on low income.

As he is planning to go to university outside London, and it is going to be the cost of the accommodation. For the tuition fees he should be able to get it.

So I wondering, if any way he could apply for the grant that would help him for the Living cost? (Rather than University bursary)
