Applied to 15+ jobs and can't get to interview stage...

I don't quite understand why but every job I apply to never offers me an interview or never gets back to me.

I answer all of the questions they ask in great detail and tailor my CV towards the job in question and the company.

The only thing I got a reply back from was A tipical volunteering placement.
I have done many volunteering things allready but I want to get paid work now...

It does not help when you have a 56 year old dad saying he got his job at 16 and now I have to... but it's not easy...
