It's hideously brutal. I remember those 6 am starts in a cold erg room with 3 sets of 5k ahead of me.

I think its because ive always gone to crap gyms where the rowing machines were always broken

To be honest i don't usually do 1RM just because it has no uses except ego stroking so here is what i do for eight reps
bench 90kg x 8
Squat 100kgx8
deadlift 110kgx 8
you should be able to get lower than 7:20 i’m on 7:19 and i’m only 13 my lowest split is 1:28
