Vaccinations and payment of loan

I have recently started a nursing degree and have been informed that I will not receive my maintenance loan until my vaccinations are complete - the earliest appointment I can get for the vaccinations is the end of October and I then have to wait 2-3 days after then before I can receive my loan. I have had to give up a job so that I can attend uni and now find myself with no income please could someone tell me if this is correct and also is there any way that I can access some interim funds until the loan comes through I am an independent adult and so have no other income.

Hi there,

Once your payments have scheduled on our payment system, we require your National Insurance Number to be validated (only if you are a new student) and also require your university to confirm your attendance in order to approve and pay your finance.

If the university are delaying the process of sending the confirmation of your attendance to ourselves, this is something you would need to discuss with them.
