Birth certificate
I sent my birth certificate via recorded delivery to student finance last week. I had a cover letter and fully filled out counter signatory form so I know I have done everything I am supposed to.
I can't help but get extremely worried that student finance will lose my birth certificate though as I've heard this happens often even with recorded and special delivery. How long will it be before they notify me they have recieved it and send it back? It is the most important document I own. Thanks for any reply on advance.

Hi,
At present we are currently working birth certificates + identity forms received on the 2nd June.
Once your documents have been assessed, they will be returned to the address shown on your account.
