Dropped out a few years back; what happens if I ever fail a module this year?

Hi

I'm currently in second Year of a Degree and prior to this, 3 or 4 years ago I dropped out at the beginning of a degree which was not for me. Anyway, like I said, I'm in Year 2 now and I'm doing good - however one module in particular seems a little difficult, the rest are a doddle.

What would happen if I were to fail theoretically? Would SFE fund the 2nd year and I would have to self-fund the third?

Thanks
Hi there.

If you need to repeat any part of a year and don't progress onto the next then we wouldn't be able to give full funding for the repeat due to your previous study. You would need to self-fund the repeat year.

Thanks.

No tuition fee loan at-least?
Hi again.

No, you would need to fund the course yourself. You can still receive a loan for maintenance, but nothing more.

Thanks.
