How many years of funding?

I'm on a course that says course duration 4/5 years - so exactly how many years of funding am I entitled to?

Hi,

The course will be either 4 or 5 years depending on what option you pick. If you have no previous study you will get the duration of the course plus an extra year. So if you're on the 4-year version you'll get 5 years funding and if you're on the 5-year version you'll get 6 years funding.

This will be my first degree and I plan on choosing the 5 year version so I should get the whole 6 years of funding going by what you said.

Hi again,

Yes, as you are studying the 5-year course you will be entitled to funding to cover the full 5 years plus 1 extra year in case you need to repeat.
