The Student Room Group

I want to study abroad and then settle there, I wanna know how to.

I live in Srilanka. I do not like it here due to many reasons. I want to study at an university overseas and eventually get a job and settle there.
My best friend lives in the UK , I would love to study in the UK, CANADA or FRANCE.
which country is easier to settle with a job after my education?
and um im not a "rich kid" im somewhere in the middle
P.S. i found that Wales isnt as financially impossible as england ^_^
thank you

Both the UK and Canada have very strict visa regulations, it is difficult for international students to remain in the country once they've finished university. Not sure about France.

Can you afford the tuition and living costs in the UK and Canada? They are very high. Germany might be a better option - lower cost of living, and public university is free (even for non-EU international students). There isn't a huge range of degrees taught in English, but there are some: http://www.eunicas.ie/index.php/eunicas/search/7.html?ordering=&searchphrase=all&searchword=

Thank you for your reply  Will it help if I learnt German in Srilanka and apply for a public university? I really want to do a good job and settle (I'm thinking of a job in the IT field since it has many options) Do you know of any websites that might show me about the jobs that Germany need (like, I heard that they employ a lot of medical students a.k.a doctors but I'm not interested in medicine)

I'm not sure what you mean, there is a list of English-taught courses in the link I provided (the public universities are the ones which say "Annual Tuition Fee: €0"). There should be a link to each university there too. You can also look at https://www.study-in.de/en for more information about living and studying in Germany.

Starting to learn German would be useful, but it isn't required.
