how do i get my ex to stop flirting with me

we've been split up for over 6 months and he keeps flirting with me and its very difficult to stay away from in school because we are in the same class and the class is very small. i dont know how to get him to stop ive told him im over him and he knows that i like someone else i even tried flirting with other lads and he just doesnt get i dont want anything to do with him. how do i make him stop?
