Results day

Hey there , I have Essex as my backup (B,B,B) and I'm now even worried I might mess that up . They offered three C's if I firmed them but at the time I was confident in getting to Bath . My worry is if I dont get those 3 B's will Essex still accept me ?

Hi hun,

They probably will, most unis accept lower grades than what they ask for especially if they gave you and offer of CCC, id be Very shocked if they didnt accept you if you got slightly lower than your BBB. Noone can say for certain though, youd just have to wait and see and ask the uni.

This is dependent on what you actually get, but if you don't get 3B's you should bring a phone to use on results day to call your unis and explain the results you got and see if they will still accept you based on their course numbers. If you've applied for an oversubscribed course like law or medicine then don't expect them to say yet no matter what your results are.
