Pesky “Preparing For Your Arrival” emails

Just received an email from my dream university titled “Preparing for your arrival” which literally said to sign up to the student guild, make sure your accommodation is sorted and information in things you need to bring. This is such a horrible email to receive 😫😫 It gives such false hope because I know i didn’t get the grades I needed but the email makes it sound like you’ve got in, which I haven’t.

Grrrr screw those emails, literally torture

I know exactly how you feel, it’s all very disheartening especially if you’re not sure you’ll achieve the grades. Worse thing is they do a complete U-turn when you don’t get the grades, like they didn’t really want you that badly all along.
