I feel so bad

I keep forgetting important things. I can't remember anything these days and I have quite important roles and I forgot about something I had to do today. It keeps happening like I have a constant fog In my head. I feel so bad about it. Should I quit? There's plenty of other people that aren't as forgetful as me and just as capable :frown:(( AAAAAAA damn it

I’d say go see a doctor. You’re either probably very stressed right now or on the verge of/ already going through depression. Honestly I’d see a doctor and see what a specialist has to say. When you say quit, what do you mean?

Try not to worry too much! Is it your job that is stressing you? If so, it is understandable, we're still in the midst of a pandemic, everything is a bit more traumatic and stressful.

From what you've said, it does seem you have some depressive symptoms, but they are also common products of stress and being overworked! Try to relax a bit more, if these things get worse/persist, it may be something worth seeing your GP about.

Thanks for the advice people, it has persisted for quite some time. Will book an appointment with my local gp.

As for lists- I do make them, but it's all digital so perhaps I'll make a physical one right infront of me so I don't forget.

I was elected in my role. I am ambitious and do love what I do but lately I've been such a mess and unorganised. Since it doesn't just affect me, I thought it'd be better off if someone more organised did it and I could focus on myself to fix things again. I did try working on myself but I found I was just ignoring myself rather than addressing what's wrong, since nothing good comes out of dwelling on my thoughts.
