On a uni course, is applied science the BTEC? or is it an a-level?

for example, on the UCLan webiste, it states "Our typical offer is 104-112 UCAS Points including Biology, Chemistry or Applied Science." Im just curious whether it is a btec or a-level. Thanks

I believe they mean the A level, do you have the link to their website I can take a look for you?

Thank you so much for your help!

Looking further down it means accepting btecs so I think they would take an applied science btec
