Here, this might help what you're trying to do.

I will take the advice and not wear the hoodie though. What sort of clothing do you think I should go for instead?

:frown: I love that hoodie! Oh well...

IMO all you should do is get a fringe =]

Nothing wrong with the hoodie in my opinion. Main problem I'd say is you look around 14-15 there....
Stop focusing so much on looks (there's nothing wrong with them anyway) and work on self-esteem. There's less of a link between the two than you think. Make-up and new clothes won't help you if ultimately you don't believe you have anything to offer. Try and imagine meeting yourself for the first time and work out what you'd think of that person- I bet you wouldn't be nearly so harsh on them as you are at the moment.

The main thing I would change is the obsession with dogs is the dress sense, but I think other than that you look good

Or you could go for a drastic change in hairstyle or something. Maybe a fringe? I really haven't got a clue about women's styles. I don't think it's the style itself that matters so much as the change and the spending a little bit of money on yourself that makes you feel happier and more confident. Treat yourself to the hairdressers, buy a new outfit (perhaps avoid hoodies if you're looking to stand out a little bit) and go out with some friends feeling con-fi-dante. Sorted.

Wear the hoodie if you want, you might bump into a male dog-lover who especially likes your hoodie!

Oh and your living my little sisters dream with the animal management course and dog behaviourist path.
I think you're already very pretty.

Wait a few years. That's all you need to do! Between 16 and 18 I've noticed that my face has slimmed down a lot and that makes loads of difference imo. Maybe change your hair (I agree with whoever suggested brown) and go for the smokey eyes look.

It's a person's confidence that makes them really attractive. Sort that and your golden.

agreed 110%... i think more than trying to make yourself "look" more attractive, you should focus on how lads would think about being with you:

Perhaps you could spend lots of time with a variety of lads (or just males) that you trust and feel like you can talk to without it being about whether they like you or not.

When you realise that talking to lads is no different to talking to girls it will help your confidence no end and with practice and repeatedly trying to expend your comfort zone when around lads youll be rollin!

oh, and in answer to your specific question, try wearing some clothes that make you look more feminine (dresses, skirts maybe), and im sure that youll stand out a lot more than you do now

that help?? :o:
You need a hairstyle, more mature clothes and make up. I don't believe make doesn't make a difference to the way you look.Even if it doesn't necessarily make you look that much more attractive, it makes you a lot more noticeable. It tells people that you make an effort and care about your appearance. I'm not saying apply it with a trowel, but things like eyeliner and foundation will make you look prettier without looking over the top. The same goes for the hair and clothes. Having a style that you keep maintained and looking nice shows you care about your appearance. Not wearing hoodies and jeans all the time is the same.

Making an effort with your appearance would make you more confident in yourself, make others think you care about yourself and in turn make them think you're worth caring about as well. On a purely aesthetic level, ofcourse. If you don't have confidence in yourself, then you won't be attractive with all the good clothes, hair and make up in the world.

don't do anything! you're really pretty!!

Have a really low self esteem because of the way I look, so I want to do something about it.

You can easily make yourself more attractive. (Which you are naturally btw)

Stop acting questions like this, you dont need to make yourself more attractive, you need t oooooze confidence, you are a naturally pretty girl and if you walk around the place like you are the only person there and confidently, suddenly the guys heads will turn.

Guys like a real confident girl with lots of self asteem, you just need to realise that you are a pretty girl and start believing in yourself, then the guys will be queuing up!
You're naturally very pretty but changing your look can really improve your confidence.
If you really want to change your look I'd go for
this sort of hairstyle
http://www.hairfinder.com/haircollections3/trendhairstyle1.htm (although it's hard to see from your picture what type of hair you have, so you would need to ask your hairdresser if it would work)
in this colour
http://www.hairfinder.com/haircollections/haircut4.htm

If you have good skin then you don't need loads of make up. Try using just a little bit of blusher (sweep it from the apples of your cheek along your cheek bone) in a natural colour to give definition to your cheek bones. Then a tiny bit of eyeliner (possibly just along the top lid) and a tiny bit of dark brown eyeshadow and then just lip balm.

Try and wear more girly fitted clothes if you are going out. Something like

with a black cardigan, thick black tights and http://www.newlook.co.uk/1493479/149347901/ProductDetails.aspx with http://www.oasis-stores.com/fcp/product/Oasis/All-Bags/Amy-music-bag/5320012701

or if you prefer wearing trousers, wide leg trousers with a fitted top look great
e.g. http://www.lauraashley.com/Trousers/SATIN-TRIM-WOOL-TROUSERS/invt/tr880auberginep&bklist= with a cream fitted jumper (try zara)

or a skirt with boots and a jumper
e.g.http://www.dorothyperkins.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=true&catalogId=20552&storeId=12552&categoryId=88653&parent_category_rn=88651&productId=792098&langId=-1 with http://www.newlook.co.uk/1518268/151826858/ProductDetails.aspx and black boots
would look great on you

or dark jeans http://www.newlook.co.uk/1245215/124521549/ProductDetails.aspx with a brightly coloured fitted top e.g.http://www.lauraashley.com/Knitwear/CABLE-TRIM-SCOOP-NECK-JUMPER/invt/jp829purplep&bklist= or http://www.lauraashley.com/Knitwear/SCOOP-NECK-CABLE-DETAIL-JUMPER/invt/jp036cranberryp&bklist=
(If you want more advice post in fashion and beauty-people there give you loads of ideas for outfits)

Wear a little bit of perfume and a pretty necklace/earrings, stand up straight and smile (you are more attractive if you look confident and happy) and spend a few minutes each morning getting ready (you'll feel better about how you look).

Maybe try and join some clubs where you'll get to meet more people, that way you'll get used to talking to men as friends and so you'll feel less awkward when you talk to men you find attractive.

You're on a bus! Nobody looks attractive when on the bus, it's a smelly dirty place! So, learn to drive! :p: Hee hee!

As long as your confident with the way you look, that's probably the most important thing.
They'd be no point trying to change if you don't feel comfortable.
Good luck

She looks quite young to me... and probably isn't willing to go from hoodies and jeans to splashing out £80 on a handbag.

I was more suggesting the kind of things that would suit her than saying she should buy those exact clothes (there are loads of other patent handbags out there much cheaper, that was just my favourite)

Swap hoodies for carigans. Basically the same.
then plainish top
nice necklace or scave
belt
and Jeans

pretty basic, but looks really good.

Is your hair naturally wavy? it would look nice not straightened
you can add the odd curl or wave with straighteners, if some of it comes out fizzy or whatever =)
