I have been staying in the USA for the last 10 months due to parents work, prior to this always lived in UK they also have a house in the UK. I'm now filling in my student finance application and I'm unsure if I will eligible. Anyone been in a similar situation that can help me out?

Hi there, If you are able to obtain evidence confirming that your time out of the UK is on a temporary basis we can accept this as confirmation. We can accept evidence showing Parents working abroad on a temporary contract of employment. Thanks, Angela
