it is not popularfor women to make the first move nowadays.
Unless of course you mean women making the first move on the super attractive men, men who are used to getting attention from most women. Which is not something new. Women have done it when it comes to those men.
Your average joe is merely subject of any woman attention, let alone making first move.

And no, smiling at a man, playing with your hair, laughing to his jokes, touching him, is not making a first move. Why? Because it is ambiguous. It is not direct.
It could be a woman being friendly. So it is stupid for women to believe that is doing the first move.

If men played with their hairs, smiled at women, laughed at their jokes, would that alone be considered by any woman to be the guy making the first move on them?

Lets not be foolish.

Texting a man first is not makint the first move. It is just texting him first.

Flirting, when it comes towomen, is way to ambiguous.
one woman flirting could be another being friendly.
how do you want a man to know which is what?
