is 500 practice questions per day a realistic target if you started preparation for your UCAT exam a couple of weeks late?
That seems extremely excessive to me. 500 a day will probably just lead to you burning out and flopping your exam. If you're starting late you have 2 options - either postpone your exam (relatively easy to do) or find a way to prepare as effectively as possible in the few weeks that you do have - this means focusing on technique and your weaknesses in particular rather than just cramming questions.

500 questions is more than what's in 2 full exams so that's going to be really difficult to keep up with and you don't want to burn yourself out. Do a full mock every few days and on the days in between those just focus on one section, and prioritise the sections you're scoring lower on. If you don't feel prepared by the day of your exam it'll be better to just put it back by a week or two
