You are not alone, regardless of cultural background.
Around the world, thanks to the current economic crisis, there are children starving. There are youth who are homeless and hungry, with no hope to get on the housing ladder. The Elderly can't afford to feed themselves after a lifetime of work. The birth rate is at an all time low. And why not? If the highest aspiration you can have is to be gawped at on YouTube or to be stuck perpetually in a lower-class service job, why would you bring more misery in to that?
Just know that this will pass. You will find whatever it is you set your sights on: Marriage? A home? Success? All of those are within your purview if you just know how to find them.
What specifically do you think you're behind in and why do you think that?
