student finance for ug dentistry as a second degree?

i was wondering if i am eligible for student finance if i do undergraduate dentistry (5 year course) as a second degree? Either tuition fee loan or maintenance loan??

Hi tia04,

Usually a student would not be entitled to further core funding if they already hold a degree and wish to study another. However, students who already hold an Equal Level Qualification will be eligible for maintenance support only (maintenance loan as well as supplementary grants and/or DSA where applicable).
