Struggling to make friends

Hey guys!

So i’m turning 18 in a few months and I haven’t really found ‘my people’. I’m currently in college and haven been for the past 2ish years and haven’t found anyone in my course. Don’t get me wrong- I speak to them all and we get along, but it’s never really been a friendship with anyone. I’ve got friends where I used to live, but it’s far from where I currently am, and so we hardly see each other but talk everyday, but because of the distance we’re not all as close anymore. Quite often it plays on my mind and everything hits me and then I start to think whether I’ll ever find at least one person. I want to be the sort of person who goes out on weekends and has fun with their friends, and I feel as though I’m missing out on all that. I do sports too and same as college- We all speak and get along but we’re not friends. Any tips please?
