hello, I’m doing the UCAT next year and I was wondering how to prepare for it. (I know it’s a bit early but I wanna make sure I have all the resources). Also when is the best time to sit it? (Like September or summer). Many thanks.
Hey there, thanks for posting a question in the Medicine forum.
The Medicine forum gets a high volume of questions being posted, and some of these are already answered by the resources and Megathreads that members of the community and volunteers have created. This is an automatic post which is designed to highlight these resources. Below is a list of threads and articles that could answer your question (you should be looking in the original post of the megathreads). If one of the below threads is a more relevant place to ask your question, please post a reply in that thread to ask your question. If your query is answered by one of the Megathreads or articles linked below, and you would like us to close this thread for you, please reply to this thread with just the words "thank you". A member of our team will then get it locked.

I got 3210 B1 - use Medentry (not Medify), take notes from Kaplan UCAT book, take it late summer before school starts (test takers statistically get lower marks i suspect bc they're prepping UCAS and school.) Practice is about quality not quantity. Find a study buddy or community to hold you accountable. Learn keyboard short cuts and skim reading. LMK if you need more help
I did a mock exam a day, and then the following day I would review the section that I got the lowest score in the previous day. I would also recommend taking your UCAT in August, to ensure that you have a solid length of 3/4 weeks before your UCAT to prep, but also time to reschedule your UCAT if you want.
