Law or Law & German Law

Hi,

So here's the situation:
I have two offers to study Law.
LLB Law at Nottingham: AAB
LLB Law with German Law at Warwick: not specified but could be AAA-AAB (A in German)

However, I originally applied for Law with Law Studies Abroad (in English) at Warwick and I had my sights set on doing Law with Hong Kong Law, and just the opportunity of doing a year abroad overall.

With Nottingham I would have to apply for this course in my second year (based on my first year performance and legal reasoning). This sets a high standard to try and live up to...and even then I may not get a place to study Hong Kong Law.

I would firm Warwick but I am really not confident in terms of my ability to speak German or even get an A at A-Level. Plus in terms of location and the university in general, I prefer Nottingham.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

P.S: Is there any difference between Warwick and Nottingham in terms of it's reputation in Law?

From the sounds of it you are settled with Nottingham instead of Warwick, and from the sounds of it you really want that year abroad so just go with want you want. But according to the league table Warwick is considered better than Nottingham:

But pick which university you want to go to  and enjoy

You can't take league tables seriously these days.
Go for what you want, trust me you will enjoy it more.
