I don't care what religion you are- its all bs. You're 'beliefs' are completely false and god isn't real. Its not even just a matter of opinion whether you are right or wrong- either god is real or not. And any rational minded individual can see he is just a made up figure from hundreds of year sago as a method of controlling people and my god how it worked.

I agree but this isn't the way to win people round. It is obvious when you are no longer religious but getting to that point is extremely difficult for some people, lets not needlessly antagonise them. I think we should refrain from unnecessary criticism, rather we should look at the harm caused by religion and use that as a platform to discuss religious rationality or lack thereof, not just mock them for the sake of it.

Everybody can have their own opinion. As I study science, obviously I am for that, however i like the concept of religion and how science counters it. Religion is important to people in more ways than just a belief.

I respect both, we can all believe what we want and there's no reason in arguing over it, whats the point :tongue:
