i mean in the last jedi if the film were not aimed at kids Rey and Ren would have had sex ... the chemistry behind them was undeniable

To protect innocence for starters.

To protect the developing brain. I am not a neuroscientist or neuroscience student, however I suspect that anyone acting of such knowledge and releasing brain chemicals would affect their ability to learn and may put them at risk of succumbing to baser urges.

There is a case for sex education but there is certainly a case against it too.

I going to just bullet point this

-Children cannot understand sex like adults can, its the same as why we hestate about telling children about death in full detail, its not something they can understand and its trumatic
-Children who are exposed to sexual content can act it out, children groomed or sexually abused will touch themselves at a very young age because they dont know its not wrong
-We dont know how it will affect a child, honestly they might be fine or they might not be
-Exposing a child to sexual content on purpose is illegal
-Children can act out what they see and are exposed too, theres a type of sexual abuse towards children called Child On Child Sexual Abuse in which a minor is also the one commiting the abuse, in a lot of these cases these children are acting out in play what they have experinced

I agree. When I have children and they ask how babies get in a tummy I won’t shy away I’ll tell them straight. It’s natural after all and I don’t think it’ll seem as big a thing if they grow up just casually knowing about it.
