This thread proves something my sister once told me, "Joe, if you are going to take drugs, do it because its a laugh, but for gods sake dont do it to impress, or to boast about it"

This thread reaks of, "hey look at me, i smoke weed, every night i have a j - what do you lot think, not that I care"

Christ almighty. I've done quite a few drugs and I do recommend it, not all of them but I feel better knowing that I've experienced them rather than being one of those pompous people who judge people when they haven't tried it themselves.

in my opinion there is no way you can justify smoking dope (whether saying its not as bad as alchohol/ other drugs etc ).
at the end of the day (however anyone wants to see it), its a drug. Is not cool!!

just wondered if anyone here smokes cannabis??.. i dont smoke cigs, hate them, but i really do like the herb, a great medicine, especially if used correctly during exams, can really help you calm down/get a good nights sleep.

i dont wish to hear from mis-educated fools (although not your fault, it still annoys me) but if anyone actually uses it to help them in any way

Actually the stoners I know don't smoke it because it's 'cool'. They hate the stigma attached, they don't 'justify' it. It's not a case of that. Why should they justify it to other people? (except the police). They smoke it because it makes them feel so much better, and sometimes I don't blame them.

ive given up until after my exams because i find that when i do it often my short term memory disappears totally. i enjoy doing it though and when ive got a full time job over the summer im gonna get high every night to take my mind off the fact ive got to do 40 hours a week of a **** job'

edit:btw i advise everyone at one point over this summer holiday to try magic mushrooms, so so so so so so so so good.

i dont believe in it. for one thing, it has THC and is much more concentrated than tobacco. also the tobacco industry is more regulated (i.e. they cant put all sorts of **** in it). I dont really believe in drugs (ie smoking drinking etc) because all the reasons to do them seem stupid. if you drink to socialise, to lower your inhibitions, i think a good state of mind can achieve the same thing if you wanted to. also after a while people would be dependant on these drugs (not talking physically/chemically) but dependant on them for happiness, and believe that they cant have a good time without it. i would never like to be dependant on anything chemical for my happiness! i can understand why many do it though. i still can never see a completely justifiable reason to smoke. if someone can prove me wrong i would be very happy indeed.

what the hell? i never said i didn't like getting high, i thought that much was obvious considering i said i smoked pot. instead of my posts being about "how much i like getting high" i wanted to put a few points across to some of the brainwashed nay-sayers from earlier in this thread.

I obviously know of people that do, or people that have...but I must just live a sheltered existance.

Id try some if offered though, just to experience it

I have a stronger desire to try weed than smoking, as I just see smoking as a pointless no fun smell really, you don't get high so whats the point?
