Hey,
I have just accepted my offer from Southampton to do adult nursing degree and want to know if anyone else is going? So i can get to know people before i go??

Hey, my interview was 16th march and found out about the 25th march so they didnt take tht long.Are you just waiting for them to give the reply? Also i hope your interview went good. I didnt think tht my tests went well because i didnt read the document they sed to read. Did u read it?

Yeah, just waiting to see if they offer me anything.

I read the document which was pretty heavy going due to its length, but i really don't think we had long enough for the tests. I also think that the fact it was just one paper instead of individual tests worked against me as i was still thinking about the maths whilst i was answering the english questions. I found the group task good though.

I spoke to a lady in admissions today and she said we wouldn't hear until after Easter now!

I also applied for the dual degree in child and adult, did you?

Yh i found that there wasnt enough time, i am pretty good at maths and i thought they were difficult i was still trying to do maths and english at the same time. Yh i did also apply for the dual field programme as i thought it sounded really good. Apparently we r suppose to find out by the 20th April. Thats a bit harsh about not finding out till after easter. Have u had any offers any where else?

yeah, i have offers at greenwich and Surrey and an interview at Kings next week which is great but Southampton is defo my fav.

I've firmed on Soton. Now just waiting to hear if I've got a place on the dual Child/Adult. Hopefully this week :s-smilie:

Which Halls has everyone applied for? I've gone for WL as it's cheap and apparently very cheerful. :biggrin:

I firmed it last week, i have applied also for wessex lane for ensuite, i have also applied for the dual field course adult/ child. Where abouts are you coming from?

Fingers crossed we hear this week about the dual.
I've gone for all the cheapest accommodation as I'm going to find it tough living off the MLoan and NHS Bursary for 46 weeks.
I'm coming from Middlesex/West London so not too far. :smile:

For £30 pw less, I'm prepared to share a bathroom. That's a lot of food and socialising. :biggrin:

Mind you I've heard there's no guarantee that we'll get what we asked for. Someone I know who's there in his first year got the total opposite of what he asked for.

No I'm Child. Tomandsnow2 has already found out via UCAS Track that they have a place on Adult/MH. Haven't heard from anyone who has an offer for Child/Adult yet.
I thought we were just getting an email or letter directly from Soton :confused:

OMG!!! I got onto the dual field nursing course, the way you find out is via the ucas track check on the choices and click on southampton and it will say the title of your course.

i'm waiting to hear from physio at Southampton and not heard anything. Applied before Jan deadline and nothing. so looks like they are still hanging on to a few. good luck xxx
