why even ask this question? It's obvious you would wait till after to get married. Out of curiosity, what course are you studying? What university are you attend? How old are you? How long have you been with your boyfriend or girlfriend, you never specified if it was a man or women in your post.

Wait until much after it; when you've had a chance to build up your finances and relationship.

that depends on how big you want the wedding and how ready you are.

I got married while in uni and while it's been great, there were tough times too

It's always tough to get married in Uni. I highly suggest you wait. Get out of Uni first.
