Is a student loan supposed to last 12 months?

Sorry if this is a silly question but is student finance supposed to last 12 months or just for the university year? Also is childcare covered until submission dates or until end of uni year?

Yes, the summer payment is slightly larger so it last the whole year. I believe childcare is till the end of term.

Hi there.

We will fund you for the full year and you can apply for CCG for the holiday periods.

In your final year, we only fund you until the course actually ends, for September starts, this is normally until June.
