Has anyone ever been in this situation with a girl from a night out?
You briefly speak to a girl on a night out, she seems interested but you come across as a bit shy and "aloof".
Then you run into her at a later date, not necessarily on another night out but it could be anywhere, she remembers you, and you manage to get her number.

Nope but it's good that you got her number though. When are you going to ask her out?
I had something similar once except on the second occasion I was drunk and made a botched attempt to ask her out, which failed. I'm not sure what you're looking for out of this thread tho, if you yourself are in this situation then what to do next is not particularly complicated.
The "meeting her for the second time" thing is hypothetical, by the way.
