For serious answers I think any guy would appreciate being called beautiful/handsome. There just seems to be so much taboo around complimenting men compared to women, I mean for the latter it's pretty standard but for a man it's pretty rare. I even used to like girls telling me I had 'long eyelashes' even though I didn't think it meant anything. Idk, it just sucks for confidence I guess - whereas women are complimented by their friends/other guys, guys are rarely complimented, and definitely not by their male friends. I'm sure most socially awkward guys would be a lot less so if they were complimented now and then.
