What are reasons a guy comes back to you if you did him dirty

If a girl does a guy dirty and he comes back to her a month later, what could be potential reasons as to why?

Because he’s possibly insecure and thinks he can’t get someone else. Also depending on age, I know of someone, who is particularly older, told me that they got back with an ex because it was the comfortable thing to do because they would find it difficult to start over and spend another few years getting back in the dating scene and getting to know someone.
