my friend has been ignoring me

I've been friends with her for over 5 years now. recently she's been ignoring my messages on Instagram. i messaged her yesterday about my assignment and not getting the grade I wanted, and she said nice you finessed the system, and I replied man said finessed the system and she replied with I'm not a man I'm a woman, and I replied saying yes I know that.
it was a joke. maybe she didn't like it I don't know.
today I decided to message her to see if all is well and just checking in really, she aired me.

i don't know really, over the past few months I don't want to assume I do feel as though we are growing apart. her views are completely different to mine.

If she really wanted to maintain your friendship she would give you back the effort you give to her. Give her back what she gives you, if she ignores you do the same until she realises she need to do better :smile:
